"Biomass fuels and the National Trust" : London HEVAR, 24th September 2009 Nick Fox from Lorien Engineering Solutions will address the particular issues relating to the use of biomass fuels in listed and other heritage buildings, using the National Trust's Sudbury Hall in Derbyshire as an example of the challenges that such buildings pose. These will include identification of the best biomass solutions, security of fuel supply and delivery considerations, the need to work within the constraints of the building in removing existing plant and installing new plant and site restraints when the building is open to the public. Nick will be supported by consultant Tom Jordan who has been leading Lorien's sustainability work with the National Trust. London HEVAR runs 23-24 September, and is staged at The Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria, London.
