REACH - November Update

As we near the end of the month, Leverton-Clarke has been busy finalising the list of products to be pre-registered under the REACH legislation. As you will know, substances manufactured or imported into the EU in quantities of more that one tonne per annum have to be registered under REACH, and first pre-registered by 1st December. Our policy is to comply fully with the registration process and to ensure continued supply of our current range of products to all of our customers. Pre-registration numbers may be supplied to those who wish, but this is not a statutory requirement. We have also contacted all of our key EU suppliers to encourage pre-registration of the substances they supply to us. We look forward to exchanging information in the coming years with both customers and suppliers to make our industry safe for both humans and the environment.
