Koolbreeze Kompact Air Conditioners

Koolbreeze, the wholesaler and distributor of Portable Air Conditioners and Dehumidifiers, have introduced 2 new portable air conditioners that pack an immense amount of cooling and heating into a tiny case. The new machines build on the current range of heavy-duty portable air conditioners sold by Koolbreeze. Their Kompact 15 model was already the smallest 15000btu “monobloc” unit on the market. The new Kompact 16 and Kompact 18 models boast outputs of 16000btu and 18000btu respectively yet stand only just over 2ft 6inches (780mm) tall . A spokesperson for Koolbreeze said; “ These units have a tiny footprint so they can sit unnoticed beside a desk or filing cabinet yet they have cooling and heating power suitable for large rooms, conservatories or server rooms. Both units have the kind of luxury features you would expect on a Koolbreeze machine including timer and sleep mode and come complete with accessories such as a window guard. We believe these features combined with the low cost of the units, when compared to units of similar output, will make them very attractive to a wide range of buyers.” Both of the units incorporate a “memory recovery” feature to allow settings to be retained and they incorporate evaporative technology so that water produced is evaporated and exhausted with the hot air. The Kompact 18 model also incorporates a water pump that operates on the most humid days to ensure water does not build up in the unit. The water can be pumped through an open window or into a drain ensuring the unit never has to stop for a water bucket to be emptied. Despite their power, the units are very quiet producing a maximum of only 50 decibels from the Kompact 16 and 55 decibels from the Kompact 18 making them suitable for home and office applications.
