Find The Needle Add My Company
ntersolar Europe 2025

We were once again represented at this year's Intersolar Europe in Munich - the leading trade fair for solar installations.

Between innovations and intensive technical discussions, the focus at our stand was on practical application expertise and technological efficiency. Our selection of specialised tools, which are specially tailored to the requirements of photovoltaic and electrical installations, attracted particular interest.

The Klauke micro EKSD50ML once again demonstrated its strengths in stripping: With the matching stripping inserts, it is the first electromechanical tool on the market to reliably strip conductors with a cross-section of 6 to 35 mm² - a real all-rounder for modern day-to-day work.

What stripping pliers cannot do is no problem for the Klauke micro: large cross-sections up to 35 mm² can be processed, as can thick insulation (NSFGAÖU), double-insulated cable types and harder and tougher insulation. In many applications - for example in switch cabinet construction - stripping and cutting cables often go hand in hand. With the integrated cutting dies in the stripping insert, conductors of all classes can be cut, regardless of whether they are solid, stranded or fine-stranded.

Another highlight was the EK 30 ID ML battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool. With a crimping range of 6 to 120 mm² and proven mandrel crimping, this tool is ideal for compacted and fine-stranded conductors in accordance with EN 60228. The closed, hinged and rotatable design enables convenient one-handed operation. The powerful 10.8 V Li-Ion technology ensures powerful and fatigue-free crimping - with automatic return and LED maintenance indicator for maximum process reliability.

Also taking centre stage: the EK PV 50 ML electromechanical crimping tool, which has been specially developed for PV connectors in the 2.5 to 6 mm² range. In combination with the PV502 crimping dies, all standard photovoltaic connectors, such as the MC4® Stäubli* type, can be crimped quickly and safely. The lightweight design and ergonomic construction enable particularly efficient work - a clear advantage for installers who make many plug connections every day.

The EK WF 120 ML, which does not require interchangeable dies thanks to its innovative square crimping (comb crimping), scored highly for work on wire end ferrules. Even wire end ferrules up to 32 mm long can be reliably processed with just one crimp. The crimping range covers 6 to 120 mm² - ideal for insulated and twin wire end ferrules. This tool also impresses with its one-button operation, ergonomic design and ease of use.

Another tool that attracted a great deal of interest was the K 507WF mechanical crimping tool. It offers a wide cross-section range from 0.5 to 50 mm² and a crimping profile for all common conductor types. The interchangeable inserts and the locking device enable precise, consistent crimping results - ideal for anyone who values versatility and reliable handling. The PV inserts turn the K507WF into a genuine all-round tool. Thanks to the PV502 crimping dies , MC4® Stäubli connectors* can now be processed reliably and with excellent pull-out values - tested and certified.

Intersolar was a valuable opportunity for us to exchange ideas with experts from all over the world and present our solutions for the energy transition. With our powerful and user-friendly tools, we are helping to make the daily work of installers more efficient, safer and future-orientated.

We would like to thank all visitors for the exciting discussions and the great interest - and we are already looking forward to the next Intersolar!
