1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment – Military Display Cabinet Project

Idea Showcases was proud to design and supply a bespoke military display cabinet for the 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment. This project required a cabinet that would both protect and present an important collection of regimental silver and historic items.

Because of the significance of the collection, we created a cabinet that delivers clarity, security and presence within the space. The design ensures each item is clearly visible while maintaining a respectful and prestigious appearance.

Silver Display Cabinet Design

The cabinet was manufactured using low iron glass, providing exceptional clarity and allowing the regimental silver to be viewed without distortion. As a result, each piece stands out with sharp detail and true colour.

To enhance the display, we installed LED lighting within the top section. This lighting evenly illuminates the silver, creating a refined and professional finish while drawing attention to key pieces.

We also incorporated adjustable glass shelves, allowing the regiment to arrange and update the display as required. This flexibility ensures the cabinet can adapt as the collection evolves over time.

For security, the cabinet features lockable glass doors, protecting valuable items while maintaining full visibility.
