A great week at SPE Offshore Europe

We had a great week at SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen.

After a 4 year wait the event finally got underway on the 5th September 2023 to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

The first day kicked off with the sounds of Scotland. A group of bag pipers welcoming exhibitors and visitors alike to the event.

After the initial set up of our stand we turned up ready and raring to go on the Tuesday for what was to be a busy week.

The show was buzzing with visitors and had a great atmosphere with lots of customers and prospects visiting our stand.

We were based in Hall 1, the largest hall at the event. Despite the heat, I don’t think I have ever been to Scotland when it has been so warm. We chatted and networked keen to make the week a success.

All week the stand was very busy with enquiries and discussions around blasting and offshore. It was great to see existing customers visit and meet our new Area Sales Manager for Scotland, Ryan Findlay.

John Anderson our Service Engineer joined us on the stand on Wednesday to offer his help and advice on on servicing. At Hodge Clemco we are a Total Service Solution Provider.

This enables us to not only sell you the initial product but also all the aftermarket help and support you require to maintain your equipment too.

James Frost joined us on Thursday. James is our Business Development Manger who specialises in abrasives and also recycling.

It was great to see so many people enquiring about this are of our business and how we can help them.

After a successful week of chatting and mixing with visitors, Friday saw us take down our stand and head back south of the border.

Sadly that meant no more Irn Bru with our meal deals, we left tired and with a smile on our faces.
