The Kirkpatrick Patterned Door Knob on Rose Black Antique is an eye catching piece of door furniture that looks great on ledged and braced doors in olde English style properties such as cottages, country homes and pubs and inns.

The door knob is made from malleable iron and has a black antique finish. It requires little to no maintenance and can best be kept clean using warm soapy water and a soft cloth. In the event of chipping occurring the affected area can be cleaned, wiped dry and filled in with black enamel paint. For use externally more care needs to be taken to maintain the knobs in pristine condition and a light coating of wax or wiping with an oiled cloth regularly will protect them.

Matching Accessories for the Patterned Door Knob

Please note – when purchasing locks and latches to us with this knob we recommend that they have backsets no smaller than 76mm (with a 95mm case) to accommodate the size of the door knob. Larger sizes can be used to allow clearance of decorative edging on the door.

Matching key escutcheons are available for doors you may wish to lock.  An escutcheon is simply a cover for the keyhole cut-out in the door.  Usually one pair is required for each door, 'standard' for doors with sash locks and 'euro' for doors with cylinder locks.  Locks are available separately; see the Hinges, Locks & Latches category.
