Hadron Engineering Sponsors Thorpe United

Hadron Engineering Ltd are the kit sponsors for Thorpe United under 14's who play in the 1st Division of the York FA British Sugar League. Also this season the Thorpe United under-14 team has been selected to represent the Selby Lions Club in their national football competition. Thorpe United FC has been established for nearly 20 years and is one of the Football Association's Charter Standard clubs. Thorpe Utd is based in the village of Thorpe Willoughby near Selby and their facilities include a licensed clubhouse, changing rooms and showers, a floodlit astro-turf pitch and four full size grass pitches. The Thorpe Utd facilities are regularly used by the West Riding County FA to host football coaching courses and all coaches at the club are FA qualified. The club has 15 teams covering all age groups from 6year-olds to senior football and has close ties with both Leeds United and York City with a number of current players attending the Leeds and York football academies. There are also several players now playing at professional clubs who started their careers as youngsters at Thorpe United.
