Amdac Carmichael Ltd

HH have resolved a number of challenges for Amdac Carmichael, a manufacturer of fire fighting and crash tender vehicles who have been a customer since the business was founded. A recent example was a contract for the supply of drawer systems to suit a fleet of crash tenders being supplied to Hong Kong. Traditionally Amdac Carmichael would source component parts and assemble the units in-house. Lead time and factory space was tight so HH were asked to supply the complete system which could be bolted into the vehicle body. The aluminium and stainless steel drawers and slider system were made from turret punched and laser cut parts tig welded together. We then assembled the components and locking system and delivered the complete set within lead time and at a significant cost saving on Amdac Carmichael's original budget.
