Gretsch-Unitas at the BAU in Munich

In hall C4, the Gretsch-Unitas Group presented itself with a two-storey exhibition stand. System solutions for comfort and accessibility were shown - the overriding theme of the trade fair presence. Comfortable operation and a representative appearance are combined - an important basis for securing the value of the building in the long term. The new HS LiftUnit - a convenience feature for manual lifting and sliding elements - met with particularly great interest. With the HS LiftUnit, the operation of the lift-slide door is enormously facilitated, especially with heavy leaf weights, because the torque on the handle is reduced by 50%. Visitors to the trade fair were able to see for themselves the ease of movement in a direct comparison, as one handle with and one without LiftUnit was mounted on the exhibited lift and slide door with leaf weights of over 200 kg. Escape door, fire door, motor-driven shoot-bolt lock and swing-door drive - barrier-free opening and closing and a high level of security The Gretsch-Unitas Group offers a one-stop solution with optimally matched components that guarantee fast, safe and convenient opening and closing of the door. The motor-driven shoot-bolt lock (MTRS) is equipped with a very fast motor – the door leaves open immediately when actuated, e.g. via a contact or push-button. The special feature of this lock is that the active leaf can also be opened by motor without using a motor lock on the active leaf. The new GU swing door drive DTN 80 has a patented double spring system which ensures that the door closes safely, quietly and completely – without latching action but by spring force. The barrier-free threshold solution from Gretsch-Unitas is a tested system solution for house and window doors. Architects and planners can plan barrier-free and fabricators can build barrier-free without changing the production and processing. This solution was voted "bfb product of the year 2019" in the category "barrier-free thresholds"! The cup was handed over on the Monday of the fair.
