Gordon Low manufactures demountable steel water tank kits made from cold rolled galvanised steel sections to BS2989. The tanks are surface mounted, so there is no deep excavation and no concrete pour. Just a level base, the kit and a liner, and you have serious water storage on site.

Liners are available in SealEco EPDM (Greenseal) or Butyl rubber, both in 0.75mm or 1.0mm thickness. Our Butyl liners are WRc approved to BS6920, tested for odour and flavour, water appearance, microbial growth and extraction of harmful substances, so they are suitable for drinking water storage.

Capacities run from 1,600 litres right up to more than 865,000 litres, so the same system works for a small nursery, a busy farm or a large sports ground. Each kit comes with the steel components and fittings, including anchor brackets, wire tensioner, capping and clips, plus the specified grade of rubber liner.

Rubber liners stay flexible in cold weather, shrug off UV and age very slowly. That means a tank goes up once and keeps working for years, rather than needing a new liner every few seasons like cheaper plastic sheeting.
