GM Coachwork is a family run business that was formed in 1988 by its CEO David Vooght. The company's Managing Director is Nigel Collins who came to us from Airbus's Head Quarters in Toulouse. We are committed to developing our business and have increased our range of products and services to meet the varying demands of a diverse range of customers. These customers include private and professional organizations, such as Motability, and products include wheelchair accessible minibuses, passenger transport ambulances as well as a wide range of wheelchair accessible car, MPV and van based solutions. We pride ourselves on our ability and skills to build quality purpose built vehicles to suit a variety of specialist needs. We are an ISO9001 quality business and are proud to have achieved membership on the Customer First scheme approved by Devon County Council's Trading Standards team. We employ over 40 staff dedicated to delivering an efficient and quality service so why not put us to the test. We operate from two main sites, the head office, Minibus factory and Used facility just off the main A38 Devon Expressway near Chudleigh. The site was developed with easy access for the disabled and wheelchair users who form a large part of our customers. We also have wheelchair accessible production premises at the Heathfield Industrial Estate. GM Coachwork prides itself on selecting quality suppliers to build its products and have strong links with many other companies in the motor industry. This enables us to maintain a steady supply of quality vehicles and parts sourced from market leading companies such as Unwin, Ricon, Autoadapt, AVS and Gliderite. Other services we provide include South West Lift Servicing installation and servicing, Autoadapt platinum installer, short notice day work fitting of seat, windows and niche applications such as dog vans, crew cabs and specialist applications.
