Mathias Senghaas Appointed Head of GGB Asia

GGB Bearing Technology, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, has appointed Mathias Senghaas general manager for Asia. Mathias will be responsible for sales and business development in China, India and the Pacific Rim and will be based at the GGB Singapore office, which opened in 2006 to support its marketing and technical support activities throughout Asia. In his new role, Mathias will bring greater focus to GGB’s commercial expansion in Asia, supporting our global customers. Senghaas began his career with GGB in 1999, previously occupying the positions of global marketing manager and sales manager respectively, before serving as general manager of GGB China based in Suzhou, where the company maintains a production facility he helped establish in 2007.
