GGB to Present at Purdue University Compressor Engineering Conference

GGB Bearing Technology will make a presentation based on a technical paper titled “The Evolution of Polymer Bearing Processing for Scroll Compressor Performance and Life Enhancement” at the 2016 Purdue University Compressor Engineering Conference. Scheduled for 9:45 to 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, the presentation will be made by the paper’s authors, Michael Kim, Benoit Sidot and Derek Marsella. The presentation will highlight GGB’s DU®, DP10, DP31 and DTS10® self-lubricating, metal-polymer plain bearings and their performance advantages in scroll compressor applications. Included will be test data compiled by Daikin Industries, Ltd., a leading manufacturer of air conditioning systems which has been evaluating these products.
