Introducing the slimmest patio doors

The perfect balance of minimalist and function in our new slimmest patio doors promises a unique look and a better overall door experience than a regular sliding or bifolding door. Introducing our Slimline slide and turn doors – narrow-profile patio doors designed to maximise your views and light entering your room.

Slimline patio doors – designed and made by Frameless Glass Curtains.

Inspired by our ultra-premium frameless doors, our new Slimline patio doors are designed with the same incredible aesthetics, quality and functionality but in a fully-framed alternative. At the same time, our new doors provide a distinctive door design you won’t find elsewhere.

Our doors start with cutting-edge design and are packed with the latest door technology, components and quality. We think there is no comparable patio door on the market, whether in terms or styling or its altogether different slide-and-turn design, that gives you a better overall door experience.

We’ve designed our new Slimline patio doors to work in any style of home, whether modern or more traditional and to fit any existing or new structural opening.

There are several unique features only available with a Slimline door.

The thinnest profile patio doors.

With a mullion sightline at a mere 60mm, our new Slimline patio doors are thinner than any bifold door and many standard sliding doors.

The look of a minimalist sliding door when closed and all the functionality of a bifold when fully opened.

More functional patio doors.

The innovative slide-and-turn design provides the best of all worlds. The inline nature of our doors ensures they don’t take up any space in a room, just like a sliding door.

Better than a bifold, you can place your garden or room furniture close up to the doors, giving you more space inside and out.

Designed for everyday use.

A traffic door comes as standard letting you open it just like a regular door for fast garden access without folding the remaining panels back.

The individual opening panel makes our doors functional and designed for everyday living, such as general ventilation, letting out your pet or taking out the washing.

Minimalist steel-look doors.

The already slim 60mm sightline and the set back frame make our new slimline patio doors distinctive when designed in the steel look.

Thin glazing bars create the industrial style, with the signature grid-like pattern and multiple panes of glass.

Slimline patio doors built to last.

Our doors are designed and engineered by us, built to an exceptional standard and promise to be beautiful and last. We’ve tested our doors to the latest PAS 24 security requirements, and they’ve also passed testing for air and wind resistance. Thermally insulated frames combine with our high-specification insulated glass units to give you excellent thermal performance and help lower your energy bills.

Bespoke to your precise sizes, configuration and colour, you can choose a single or double-door set or from three panels in our innovative slide-and-turn design. The opening and closing action provides a better experience than regular bifolds, with added ventilation and a user experience that we think is far superior to other types of doors with a similar opening action.

With no intermediate handles or door hinges, our new slimline patio doors come with just one modern and multifunctional handle. Unlocking the doors starts with the key cylinder, and rotating the handle releases the primary door also acting as the previously mentioned traffic door. Once opened, the remaining door panels are free to slide partially along the track for ventilation or to the end of the track to swing and stack fully open. The reverse procedure closes the doors, and the final closing action via the handle compresses the panel for excellent weather protection. A multipoint locking system and security cylinder with keys come as standard.

Designed better than standard bifold doors

Every detail of our new slimline patio doors, designed and made by FGC, promises the latest generation design that we think gives you a better experience than a regular bifold door. Here’s how they compare to one of the leading brands in terms of slim profiles and overall sightlines.

Choose your design, opening configuration and colour.

You can use our new slimline patio doors to replace any dated door in an existing opening. Or we can help you design the perfect door for your new extension or building project.

The door design can be configured to open in or out. You can choose a fixed or corner design from two panels up to eight or more. Adding colour-matched aluminium bars creates a desirable industrial or steel look, and there is even a lower set threshold option, giving a smooth and uninterrupted flow to your patio area, with no loss of weather protection.
