Flap Gate Reject

The flap gate reject is an available option for conveyor-type metal detectors. It remains closed during normal operation, allowing products to flow off the top side of the flap to downstream equipment. After contaminated product is detected, it pivots outward, directing the product into the reject area, below the outfeed conveyor, for later inspection.
