The New Hygienic Conveyor from Flexlink

Following increased attention on hygiene in the food and dairy industry, FlexLink launches the second generation of its modular hygienic conveyor concept. The new design, materials, close tolerances and speed control make the conveyor lubrication-free, which prevents contamination of the products conveyed and saves costs for lubricants and their supply systems. The new chain, combined with improved conveyor rigidity allows for conveyor speeds up to 100 metres per minute, still maintaining the stability of the products conveyed. Speed control has been integrated into the drive units, allowing dynamic buffering and soft start and stop.
