All In One Corrosion Module

Applying, checking and maintaining protective coatings in on-and off-shore applications can be a challenge for everyone involved. Now, with only one device, it is possible to detect and measure all the critical success factors throughout the entire corrosion protection process – from surface preparation to measuring finished dry film thickness. Fischer has developed a fully-integrated, portable instrument that accompanies the user throughout the entire coating process. Used in conjunction with the FMP family of handheld instruments, the Fischer Corrosion Module (CM) makes it simple to perform quick and accurate assessments of surface profile, potential salt contamination, analysis of climatic parameters and environmental conditions such as surface temperature, relative humidity, air temperature, dew point temperature and Delta T. Also the dry film thicknesses ranging from just a few µm to 100 mm can be measured with a variety of high precision probes. Applications cover protective coatings on ships, bridges, pipelines, off-shore structures, wind turbines, shipping containers, cranes, steel structures and other assemblies – all to international standards.
