We offer a full range of dust explosion tests to determine the hazardous properties of particulates. For those materials where the explosive nature of the dust is in doubt, our unique classification test exposes the material to 4 different ignition sources to determine flammability; hot coil ignition, 10KV electric spark ignition, high temperature ignition at 800 degrees Centigrade and pressure vessel enclosure with electrically operated chemical igniters. Our experienced laboratory staff can advise on which tests are required to ensure ATEX or DSEAR compliance.
