Who We Are.

We’re an independent company that operates from a fully equipped fabrication workshop in Surrey, we specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke conveying, bag handling and powder processing solutions for industrial applications.

With over 60 years of experience, we understand that each project is different; from concept and design through to manufacture, testing, commissioning and aftersales support, we focus on cost effective BESPOKE engineered solutions that improve health and safety, reduce manual handling and provide overall efficiency gains.

What We Make.

We are experts in dry product handling. We build stainless steel machines that handle powders, micronised materials, granules, seeds, grains and fibres. Our machines are designed to minimise dust release and manual handling, to mitigate DSEAR / ATEX associated risks and to help your business be more efficient.

• Aero Mechanical Conveyors (AMC’s).
  Our AMC’s are fast (upto 24t/hr) cost effective conveyors that are entirely dust tight and with no internal filters, they have very low running costs. We have a unique portable version for rapid Road-Tanker loading. For the right application, the AMC is an unbeatable conveyor.

• Automatic Sack Opening (ASO) Solutions.
  Leading innovative design, our ASO machines safely open and empty many types and sizes of Sacks and Bales. Up to 300 Sacks or 200 Bales an hour, the ASO is used to streamline production bottlenecks while eliminating manual handling and nuisance dust release. Perfect for hazardous materials.

• Sack Tip Stations (STS’s)

        Ergonomic, with integrated dust extraction, check sieves, magnets          and waste bag containment, our STS is a perfect stand-alone dust          containment solution. We offer a unique drum sealing mechanism           that further eliminates nuisance dust release.

• FIBC Discharge Stations (FDS’s).
  The Entecon FDS can handle any type of FIBC and with our tried and tested “flow aids”, such as bag massagers or vibrating plates, our FDS’s can handle products that are not normally free flowing. The unique Entecon Bag Clamp enables dust free transfer.

• Flexible Feeders (FF’s)

        An effective solution for accurate dosing of adhesive and                          problematic powders, including those that bridge or rathole;

        our Flexible Feeders have pliable rubber sidewalls that gently                    undulate to promote product discharge.

• Bespoke Hoppers and Vessels.

        Designed in practically any size and shape, to feed into or                          discharge from, we offer hoppers and vessels as part of our                      process solutions.

• Bespoke Finishing and Polishing.

        We offer metal polishing and weld dressing to suit all industries,              starting with a 3.1b standard mill finish all the way up to mirror                polishing and anywhere in between.

Project and Customer Support.

• Bespoke Engineered Systems.
  We develop bespoke designs tailored to your process needs. We offer technical design assistance, site visits & detailed quotations before manufacture.

• Project De-Risking.

        For projects that involve novel or unique materials or applications,          we De-Risk by using our test machines and we fabricate tests                  assemblies before CAPEX investment.

• Spares and Service Support.

        We offer spares for all our machines, often off the shelf, and we              can attend site and fit those spares in the UK and Northern Europe.

• Operator Training.

        We provide extensive training, often for multiple shifts, that                        ensures your operators know how to use the equipment as i                      intended.

        With regards to DSEAR and ATEX, we work with TUV who have                  been our Notified Body for many years. 

• The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology.

        In the UK we’re very lucky to have access to the expertise offered            by the Wolfson Centre, a part of Greenwich University. For very                  difficult to handle products we use the services of the Wolfson                Centre to ensure our solutions work properly.

• SHAPA.

        Entecon is a SHAPA member, we engage with the Bulk Solids                    Handling industry to ensure we keep abreast of new ideas and                  emerging technology.

        Entecon make almost everything in our specialist stainless steel              only fabrication workshop, the things we buy in, such as control                panels and laser blanks, are sourced from suppliers we trust.
