Ecopac Power has now launched the MSP-300 (300W) series; the first Mean Well AC/DC medical grade enclosed power supply. With low leakage current, the MSP-300 series is suitable for “non-patient contact” medical equipment. Possessing up to 89% of high efficiency the series can be cooled by the built-in long life DC fan from -40~+50°C ambient temperature under full load condition. The MSP-300 series is equipped with 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds reducing the risk of damages caused should there be an unstable AC main. Other features also include low no load power consumption and protections such as short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage, over temperature. The MSP-300 series complies with UL, CUL, CB, CE and medical safety regulations. Suitable applications include medical equipment requiring low leakage current, chemical and biological detection equipment, analysis facilities, and any systems have low no load power consumption requirement.
