SOS & Call Pendant Functions The ECS-K2 uses the mobile telephone network to automatically call emergency contacts when the pendant button is pressed. The system can be used at home and as it uses the mobile network it can be taken anywhere, on holiday for example. The system offers valuable benefits for senior care, vulnerable people living at home alone and people with special needs. The controller features a loud two-way voice intercom which can be called into by a carer or activated when making a call using the large easy to press SOS button. Additionally, there is a programmable home temperature monitor which provides alerts for over and under temperature alarm in temperature extremes. Home Activity Monitoring Features This affordable daily activity monitoring system allows a distant carer to check on the movements throughout the home of a person who may be at risk from; falls, not eating or drinking as they should or leaving home at odd hours. The system is set up via a free APP for iOS or Android and allows activity monitoring times to be programmed with detection time parameters: 07.00 09.30 hall sensor, 11.00 12.30 kitchen etc. Lack of movement detection is notified to your Smartphone. Are they out of bed? Visited the W/C Entered the kitchen between certain times (evidence of eating & drinking)? Moved from the living room? With careful planning it is possible to predict a potential fall, should the person refuse to wear a fall detection sensor.
