Weld fume extraction from multiple machines

Dustair were employed to design and install various fume extraction systems to serve a welding workshop. The machines creating the fume included a robot welding cell and a number of jigs, together with manual weld benches. After exploring a multitude of design possibilities with the client and the machine operatives, Dustair was able to supply the fume extraction systems with bespoke components to fit around the work areas, including a number of Euromate multiposition extraction arms. All of the extracted fumes are filtered through Euromate electrostatic precipitators and the cleaned air returned into the factory, reducing heat loss and energy consumption.
