Team raises over £2K for charity

We are incredibly proud of our team this week as some of our fantastic staff have tackled tough challenges and collectively raised more than £2,000 for amazing charities. Our London sales manager, Glenn Nixon, donned his lycra and cycled an impressive 280 miles in 24 hours as he wheeled his way from London to Paris. He raised an incredible £1,400 for Scope, a charity dedicated to ensuring disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Battling four seasons in a day as he made his way across the channel, Glenn was spurred on by the overwhelming support he has received from friends, family and colleagues and is already planning his next fundraising challenge. Meanwhile, on UK soil our customer services team, aka the Durapipe Mud Queens, took on scramble nets, tunnels and climbing walls…. all in the mud, as they completed a 5K Pretty Muddy® course as part of the Race for Life series of events. The team of 10 raised more than £800 for Cancer Research UK enabling vital work to continue to help beat cancer sooner. We are proud to have supported both fundraising efforts and delighted to see the teams smash their targets and raise much needed funds for two such worthy charities.
