SuperFLO ABS gets BIBRA seal of approval

We are delighted our SuperFLO ABS pipework system has been approved by BIBRA for use within food and beverage applications, reassuring specifiers, consultants and end clients of its safe use within this sector. BIBRA, one of Europe’s leading chemical hazard and risk assessment organisations, has undertaken trials with SuperFLO ABS and, after reviewing toxicological data, has certified the product will have no effect on the odour or flavour properties of conveyed materials due to the non leachable nature of the material. The exhaustive and expert analysis has confirmed the safe use of the pipework system for contact with food and beverage applications under normal working conditions. This latest certification, combined with the WRAS approval we hold on our SuperFLO ABS product, as well as being listed in the “List of approved products” published by the DWI, makes it an ideal pipe system to convey drinking water and a wide range of foodstuffs. The corrosion and limescale resistant properties of the pipe also ensure the conveyed material will not become contaminated throughout the lifetime of the system.
