A Safer Approach to Battery Pack Discharge for Recycling
As electric vehicle and energy storage applications continue to grow, the need for safe and controlled battery discharge before recycling is becoming increasingly important. DV Power’s Battery Discharge Container System (BDCS) is designed to support this critical process safely and efficiently.
Installed in a 10-foot container, the BDCS enables outdoor operation and integrates DV Power’s BLU-C series battery load units for controlled discharge of battery packs. The system allows simultaneous discharge of two battery packs, helping improve efficiency and facilitating the subsequent stages of the recycling process.
A central control system monitors thermal cameras and emergency functions to ensure safe operation. Operators can easily manage discharge parameters and monitor the process via a 15-inch industrial display, while the integrated ventilation system helps maintain stable conditions.
