Back in 2014 we refocused the DJS Research brand to reflect the breadth of our offering, our expertise and our core value proposition. Fast-forward through another decade of growth and innovation and we’ve re-evaluated once again: by listening to feedback from our clients and our employee Partners, examining our strategic goals and reviewing our communications end-to-end, we’ve refined our brand image to ensure it represents the organisation we are today and aligns with our ambitions for the future.

This detailed brand-evaluation has led to the complete transformation of our most valuable brand asset and communications tool – our company website.

Much more than just a brand refresh – djsresearch.co.uk has evolved.

Building on the strengths of our legacy site, we’ve retained our history while elevating our content and redefining and enhancing the user experience.

More than just a facelift or a refresh, we’ve designed, restructured and revitalised our entire platform. Our approach aims to showcase what we do, in glorious detail, and illuminate the reason why our clients choose to work with us again and again – our incredible people.

And just like DJS Research, our website won’t stand still; it will evolve and grow with us to ensure it continues to represent the positive impact of our work and our employee Partners now and for the long-term. This is just the beginning.

Why now?

Since the start of the decade, we’ve enjoyed some of the biggest achievements and milestones in our 25-year history. From double-digit growth in 2020 and our transition to employee ownership in 2021, to countless fantastic additions to our team and our client portfolio, new product launches and our B Corp Certification, we’re moving ever forward and evolving at pace: we knew it was time for our website to catch up.

Built by the people who know DJS Research the best…us!

The website you see today is the culmination of months of careful planning and hard work from in-house teams across DJS Research. Building on already strong foundations, our vision was crafted and designed by our Creative Services team, and made into a digital reality by our lead Software Developer; every piece of content, every user journey, every image – in fact every detail – has been carefully and purposefully created by DJS Research.

And we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. 

So, what’s different?

Our URL may be the same, but our new site is now worlds away from the comparatively basic and neutral format we had before. Full of new, engaging and elevated content, dynamic video showreels and so much more, we hope new and returning visitors will enjoy discovering what it’s really like to work with DJS Research.

Here are just a few of the significant step changes we’ve made across the site:

  • It’s truly rooted in our people: Our new website reflects the ethos of our employee-owned organisation – our people are central to everything we do. Our new people section shines a well-deserved spotlight on all the incredible individuals within the many essential teams across our business. And they don’t just feature on our website; they contribute to it and will play a vital part in its continued growth. Every team across our organisation helps shape and influence our website content and every single person is encouraged to contribute: thought leadership shouldn’t be restricted to senior ranks and our new site will give a voice to all who wish to share their views on our industry or their specialism.
  • It bridges the gap between our image and reality: We knew there was a disconnect between our old website and the reality of working with DJS Research: quite simply, it didn’t do us justice. Clients had told us that the DJS Research they saw online didn’t marry up with their positive experience of working with us or match the quality of our outputs. Throughout our new website we aim to bring our values, strengths and capabilities to life to give site visitors a true sense of what it’s really like to work with DJS Research.
  • It brings our actionable insights to life: From our growing case study library and fantastic new published reports gallery to our specific creative services archive – with a dedicated video and animation section – it couldn’t be easier to explore the impact of our work, across many different fields and sectors, in an instant. Built to underline the expertise of our teams and the innovative and creative insights we deliver, we don’t just share what we do but how and why we do it.
  • It articulates our high standards and service excellence which set us apart: Our standards are set and continually raised by our people; audience and industry experts who strive to make a meaningful and positive impact through the work that we do and the inclusive culture we create as ‘one DJS Research’. We hold ourselves to account on matters of social and ethical responsibility throughout our day-to-day working practices, crafting bespoke, accessible project solutions which meet audience and client needs, and tailored outputs that deliver actionable insight. Our new website explores not only our extensive services but our in-house capabilities, and unique approaches, that have proven invaluable for our clients across the globe. We’ve made it as easy as possible for all visitors to our website to find the information they need – and much more – at the click of a mouse.
  • Accessibility is the rule, not the exception: Building our new website has enabled us to elevate our accessibility standards to optimise and improve user experience for all audiences. From ensuring our choice of typeface colour is appropriate to constructing detailed alt-tags and clear contact methods throughout the site, we are committed to ensuring our platform – like our research outputs – is as inclusive and accessible as possible.
