Destec Engineering Ltd has been at the forefront of high pressure containment solutions for over 55 years. Founded in 1969 and based in Washingborough, Lincoln, we are a privately owned British manufacturer with a reputation built on precision engineering, innovative product design, and dependable on-site services delivered to industry worldwide.
Our story began with deep roots in the clamp-type pipe connector market, and that expertise has never left us. Today, Destec is a market leader in the design and manufacture of high pressure containment products including G-Range Hub Clamp Connectors, GSB Single Bolt Subsea Connectors, Compact Flanges, Seal Rings, Boiler Inspection Caps, and Door Closures.
Our Compact Flanges alone offer weight savings of up to 88% compared to equivalent ANSI flanges, combining ease of assembly with outstanding mechanical strength. Our standard products carry Lloyd's Type Approval, and our entire operation is certified to BS EN ISO 9001.
Alongside our product range, we offer a comprehensive suite of on-site machining and engineering services. Our multi-disciplined technicians are deployable globally on a 24-hour basis, delivering flange facing, line boring, bolt tensioning, on-line leak sealing, inspection services, regenerator vessel head removal, and more. Where conventional workshop access is impractical, we bring the machine shop to the job.
Our in-house design team works with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and finite element analysis software to support product development and deliver supporting calculations and stress analysis. Our fully equipped workshop includes CNC lathes and vertical boring and milling machines capable of handling components up to two metres in diameter.
We serve clients across oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, steel, and marine industries, supported by an established global distributor network spanning more than 18 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
At Destec, we have spent more than half a century making and maintaining the right connection. We intend to spend the next half century doing exactly the same.
