In 1977 Refrigeration Engineer Terry Hill and wife Jacqueline started Derbyshire Refrigeration,  Refrigeration contractors working all over the UK and employing 12 engineers. Back in the day, parts weren’t that easy to get hold of and deliveries from Wholesalers came in once a week.  So he started striking deals and buying in bulk ensuring he had spares in store. Word soon got round that he had plenty of stock in and other engineers started buying from him. This progressed over the years and in 1985, he finally took the leap and became an Independant Refrigeration Wholesaler.

Daughter Vanessa joined the business from School,  followed a few years later by daughter Andrea.  In 2000, Terry finally retired and moved to Las Vegas, leaving the business to the girls to manage.

Sadly,  Terry passed away in April 2020.  The business has changed quite a bit since 1985, but we still have the same values and continue to supply parts to engineers  all over the UK.

Derbyshire Refrigeration is one of the UK’s independent refrigeration and air conditioning parts wholesalers located in Nottinghamshire, off junction 26 M1 (near IKEA). During this time, Derbyshire Refrigeration has grown to become one of the UK’s foremost suppliers and distributors of top quality refrigeration tools in the UK.
