Rack consoles with integrated KVM switch to control and manage all computers right on the rack or by remote access via TCP/IP and Cat5/6/7 cables LCD rack consoles (LCD switches, TFT switches, TFT rack consoles) with integrated monitor and keyboard drawer allow access to all servers in a rack with an integrated KVM switch via a CATx or TCP/IP connection. All PS/2, USB, SUN computers are easy to control, maintain and manage centrally in real-time via the LCD/TFT monitor and its console which are integrated into the server rack. These computers can also be centrally rebooted if necessary. The connected servers can either be accessed locally in the rack or via another IP connection in the remote access procedure. The number of computers operated with the rack console by KVM switch can be increased to several hundred by cascading.
