ESD Testing

Immunity to Electrostatic Discharge Test level: ±8kV air discharge on user accessible non-conductive areas ±4kV contact discharge on user accessible conductive areas Test frequency: one discharge per second (typically 10 pos/10 neg) Test method: test set-up as per floor-standing equipment, post-installation testing (NB. this test does not include discharge to horizontal and vertical coupling planes unless EUT is arranged on top of a ground plane).
