Household Appliance Testing ensure devices are safe, reliable and energy efficient before reaching customers. IEC 60335-1 is a widely recognised standard for household and similar electrical appliance safety. Testing according to this standard is essential to ensure that appliances meet safety requirements and provide user protection. IEC 60335-1 testing includes Insulation resistance test, which ensures that it can withstand the electrical voltages present during normal operations. Also includes Dielectric strength test, that determines the ability of the appliance to withstand high voltage without breaking down. As well as ground continuity test, heating test, mechanical strength test, and leakage current test.
