This complete Artisan Doming Set is a fantastic addition to any workbench. Made from high quality CNC tool steel, this exceedingly comprehensive set features 21 doming punches and 1 doming block with corresponding indents, ensuring reliable domes every time. All of this is neatly contained in a solid wood stand, with each dedicated section clearly marked so you know exactly where that tool came from. This set is ideal to use with soft metals such as; gold, silver, copper, brass and aluminium. This kit includes: 21 x Doming punchs in 3mm - 13mm, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 28, 30, 33, 38 and 43mm 1 x Doming block (2.5" x 2.5") 1 x Wooden stand To use the block and punches; place your annealed blank or sheet of metal over the largest section to start, then using the matching punch strike with good force, repeat a few times. You`ll need to anneal after a few strikes and work down the sizes until you reach your desired size. We would advise when striking, to place the block onto a rubber mat to defuse the noise and vibration (997 V003). To ensure a longer working-life and prevent this set from rusting we would advise to use a lubricant.
