18ct HCB yellow Fairtrade Gold casting grain is produced using state of the art technology, ensuring your grain provides a consistent and reliable cast each time. Our 18ct HCB Fairtrade Gold contains Boron but does not contain silicon. It has a casting temperature range of 1010-1110°C, 905-960°C melting range, a density of 15.5g/cm3 and a HV hardness (soft) of 115-135HV. CPM FLO identity 26114. It is a preferred 18ct yellow alloy that produces a 2N colour (normal UK yellow) and due to it being Fairtrade Gold it is certified to Fairtrade Standards. This certificate means it provides artisanal miners and their communities, in developing countries, the opportunity for better living and working conditions. The FAIRTRADE stamp on products gives assurance to retailers and consumers that miners in the developing world are getting a fair deal for their work.
