INTECONT® Tersus: now available in Chinese too
The new feeder from Schenck Process combines proven quality, state-of-the-art technology and enhanced functionality After more than 20 years on the market and after supplying more than 50 000 INTECONT® PLUS feeders, Schenck Process is presenting the compatible successor machine at Powtech 2011 in Nuremberg. The INTECONT® Tersus offers unrivalled performance and state-of-the-art features. Among other things, the INTECONT® Tersus is characterised by its ultra-modern display technology. A colour high-resolution display and extreme operating convenience make it one of the most modern machines on the market. The event marking and entry assistance colours provide the user with valuable support. Thanks to the comprehensive range of operating languages, the INTECONT® Tersus can now be used to suit customer requirements the world over; you can even download Chinese or Russian. The electronics are accommodated in a control panel rack and can be integrated in a wall housing. The basic machine features an Ethernet network connection. Fieldbuses can be installed for perfect communication. Automatic adjustment programs allow for a high degree of operating convenience too. The INTECONT® Tersus features all weighing applications and an integrated calibration memory for weighbelt feeders. But the INTECONT® family is also about continuity. Like its predecessor feeder, the Tersus features a fibre-glass reinforced plastic housing. The mounting type, housing width and housing height have been retained, as have the power supply, load cell connection and speed probe. And even when you're changing from INTECONT® PLUS to INTECONT® Tersus, it doesn't take much effort to re-wire the rest of the connections. The INTECONT® Tersus is the perfect addition to the INTECONT® range of machines. While the INTECONT® Satus features measurement electronics specially designed for weighbelt feeders and the INTECONT® Opus is characterised by its legal-for-trade belt weigher electronics, the INTECONT® Tersus is sticking to the tradition of its predecessor model, INTECONT® PLUS – being the 'little brother' of the DISOCONT® Tersus. The machine will be on display at the Schenck Process stand (no. 539, Hall 7) at Powtech 2011 from 11 to 13 October.
