Portable air conditioning units

Ideal for use in: General Offices, Large Domestic, Halls, Marquees, Commercial Cooling Range: 2.3 kW to 7 kW Generally These units are provided in the form of two basic halves, one part is positioned inside the room or premises, the other part - the 'Condenser' section is positioned outside the premises in the open air or inside a warehouse or void area ( Somewhere that the heat will dissipate and not build up or affect other persons or equipment). The distance between the two parts is limited to about 2 metres. An 'Umbilical' type services line is supplied with the equipment and this can generally be separated (to pass through walls or openings) before being connected up to the indoor section. These type of units are far more effective, offer greater cooling capacity and are more secure in most instances as any opened windows or doors do not have to be secured during 'Out of Hours' periods. Electronic temperature and fan speed controls are generally supplied with the units and can maintain the desired temperature range inside a building as required. Waste water produced during the cooling cycle is pumped to the outdoor unit and dissipated with the hot condenser air. They tend to be bulkier and heavier than most other units but this is only due to the amount of equipment that is inside and necessary for the cooling required
