CCTV Systems to help Police combat Car Theft

A specialist CCTV system could be the answer to rising car theft in Long Eaton, according to Derbyshire police and local councillors. The police and Erewash MBC are to launch a joint bid for the £275,000 needed for the system. It is hoped that the CCTV would be fitted with the Automatic Number Plate Recognition system.
