Carbonating Machine Installed and Commissioned for Danish Bottling Company

Carbonation Techniques has recently installed and commissioned a carbonating machine into a Danish bottling company, TransAlko.

The Carbo 2000 is designed to carbonate products consistently and accurately at a speed of up to 2000 litres per hour – now with touchscreen control.

The machine in question was also supplied with a mounted plate heat exchanger and external chiller to bring the product temperature down. Reducing product temperature makes the carbonation and filling process easier and also saves on Co2 usage. For difficult products, such as tonic waters and drinks with high sugar content, this process is extremely important. They are difficult to fill and create a lot of foam at higher temperatures. This is mainly due to the sugar content as in order to carbonate the product correctly the machine needs to increase the carbonation pressure. Fortunately our machines are specifically designed for this and have no problem handling these renownedly difficult drinks.
