Once again Cablespeed provided a fully integrated solution to allow our customer the maximum flexibility without compromising price. This Artos CR-22 CST machine enables our customer to instantly switch from double end crimping to double end wire twist, flux and tin without a lengthy setup procedure. The machine comes with integrated quality control functions including crimp force monitoring, Qualification function which requires the operator to test the crimp height and pull force on the meters prior to production.Both meters are fully integrated into the Artos programming meaning that if either the crimp height or pull force does not pass a predetermined force and height setting then the operator can not enter into full production mode without rectifying the problem and re-testing a new part. The CR-22 also incorporates automatic motorised press height adjustment allowing our customer to switch from open barrel to closed barrel applications without setup, in fact this is done automatically as the program is changed.
