One-Trip 40ft High Cube Shipping Container Used as an Office and for Storage

In early 2023 we delivered two, one-trip 40ft high cube shipping containers. The customer needed some space for storage and a general office space. Therefore they tasked us to convert two 40ft high cube containers, by putting in a steel partition to create two rooms.

40ft High Cube Shipping Container For Conversion

We offer a large range of customization options for shipping containers. This allows our containers to span an unlimited number of  possible uses, from storage, to offices, even to ice cream stands.

In this case, the customer needed the container for an office space and some storage. After conversing with the customer we agreed that having both of these in one container would be the best option. We agreed to split 10 feet of the length of the container for office space and the remaining 30ft for storage.

Per shipping container we installed: a door, a window, lighting, a heater and electrics. We also added the steel partition to separate the two spaces. From here, we installed melamine lining and insulation on all sides of the 10ft office space, but not for the 30ft space for storage.

Delivering a 40ft High Cube Shipping Container to a Farm in Dorset

These two shipping containers were delivered using hiab trucks to a farm in Dorset.

For delivery there must not be any overhead powerlines or trees that might interfere with the crane. Furthermore the trucks are unable to drive over grass. These are always things to keep in mind when shopping for a shipping container.

One-Trip 40ft High Cube Shipping Container Condition

This office and storage space was made from a One trip 40ft high cube shipping container. This container has only been shipped once from the factory in China to the UK. This means this is the best quality of container. Compared to a used shipping container, which generally has quite a few dents and some surface rust, a one trip is good if cosmetics matter.
