By precision machining and turning operations wool felt sheet can be transformed into a multitude of complex shapes. Felt tubes and guides are just a couple of examples. Manufactured to custom-fit steel conveyor shafts, nip rollers and transportation rollers, these bespoke made components offer a high degree of product protection, cushioning & grip whilst displaying very long production life. Tubes can be manufactured up to 18″ long (457mm) and are designed to provide a tight slide-on fit on the roller shaft.On extra long shafts, multiple tubes slide together to form a seamless product which can be swopped around when areas of wear become apparent over 1 or 2 particular rollers.
