Bonfiglioli international corporate meeting 2007

This year’s International Corporate Meeting took place in Riccione between the 6th and 8th June. Customers, distributors and managers from the group’s international subsidiaries all attended the event. Sales strategies, product development analyses and new manufacturing processes were discussed against a backdrop of fun and passion for the sea. 120 participants joined corporate management in work groups to tackle a variety of key issues, focusing on new solutions and proposals for improvement and a more central positioning of corporate policies. Team building activities were run alongside the various work sessions. In particular, sailing trips were organised to test individuals’ ability to "lead" situations at work against their ability to handle a yacht. A number of crews were formed, made up of the many different nationalities attending the meeting, which competed against each other in a series of regattas, aimed at highlighting the importance of a strong team spirit and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations. Sailing obviously shares much in common with working in a large organisation where team work and knowing how to respond to a rapidly changing market are indispensable qualities for success.Such a business and work ethic has always been central to Bonfiglioli’s approach and over the years the company has succeeded admirably in creating management teams capable of communicating and creating synergies with each other worldwide across the group’s manufacturing plants and commercial offices.
