Blackwood Embedded Solutions Ltd was set up in 2008 to offer consultancy, design services and products for the embedded electronics field. The aims of the company are to develop embedded microcontroller cards that can not only be used during the development phase, but right the way through to production, in the development of your company's future products. In addition Blackwood Embedded Solutions Ltd offer consultancy services in the areas of embedded software development and embedded hardware design. Our founder Anthony Giles has a BSc (hons) 1st class in Electronics Design and won the South Wales Institute of Engineers "Engineering student of the year" award. He has nearly 20 years of medical electronics experience, from initial design stages through to production. In the past he has been employed by Huntleigh Diagnostics, Gyrus Medical and Altera. He is also a member of the IET and the Professional Contractors Group.
