SKANDIA HANDLING EQUIPMENT AND SVEAVERKEN SILO DISCHARGE SYSTEMS AMONGST THE BDC SYSTEMS HIGHLIGHTS AT LAMMA 2013

Nottinghamshire, 16-17 January 2013, Hall 5, Stand 515 At LAMMA 2013, BDC Systems will be underlining its position as the UK’s leading one stop shop for grain handling, storage and drying equipment. Two of the major product ranges to be exhibited will be the Skandia handling products and Sveaverken range of silo discharge equipment. The extensive range of Skandia elevators and conveyors shown at LAMMA 2013 will include a new lower height KTIBU conveyor for use where height is limited. This new machine will be available in 60-120tph capacities. Extended rack and pinion inlet slides, rounded tail ends and drive end chain adjustment are just some of the new features of these machines. Other products include the Agricultural range with capacities from 30 to 60tph for up to 3000 tonnes per annum; the Industrial range for 40 to 150 tph applications up to 30000 tonnes per annum; for greater capacity, the Heavy range is rated from 60-600tph for over 50000 tonnes of grain per annum. The Sveaverken range of silo sweep augers and unloading augers will also be shown. These range from simple carry in sweep augers, for general small agricultural silos, to fixed installations of 80tph for commercial silos up to 19m diameter. Three options of silo dischargers are available: horizontal screws with intermediate inlets, horizontal to vertical dischargers with intermediate inlets or horizontal to inclined with intermediate inlets. The internal silo sweep augers have independent drive motors, avoiding extra gearboxes and drive components generally associated with other makes. BDC Systems will also highlight the renowned ranges of Svegma continuous flow grain driers as well as high specification cleaning, storage, ventilation, milling and mixing equipment.
