As an industry leader of high-capacity optical transport, MICROSENS continues to expand its product portfolio to provide its customers with solutions that are optimized for business-critical applications. Metro-regional networks have witnessed unprecedented traffic growth over recent years, but network operators have had limited access to 100G solution that allowed for cost-effective transport of that traffic. MICROSENS new 100G pluggable transponder modules were engineered specifically for metro-regional applications. The results are optimized modules that are efficient to operate using minimum space and power, and affordable to deploy in metro-regional networks. The 100G MR modules utilize coherent technology providing operators with the improved system capacity and performance consistent with their long-haul network. With these modules part of the MICROSENS 100G solutions suite, customers can address all aspects of their network (long-haul, metro, regional, access, rural, etc.) with the same MSP3000 optical transport platform — simply by selecting the 100G module that best meets their business needs.
