MINT machine modules Plug-in machine controller for MotiFlex e100 The MINT machine module transforms MotiFlex e100 drives into powerful intelligent drive systems. It assumes complete control of the drive on-board IO, communications, and networking features, eliminating the need for external controllers or PLC's. Powerful multiaxis control without an external controller Modules are available as a powerful dual-axis controller (host MotiFlex plus one analog axis) or a multi-axis version capable of coordinating motion on additional axes via the integrated real-time Ethernet POWERLINK network. All this from an intelligent drive solution that eliminates the need for an external controller or PLC. Analog axis control or line-shaft encoder function Both module types have an incremental encoder interface and analogue signals which can be used for control of analogue axes such as inverters driving conveyors or indexing belts or used independently for any application purpose Save on space and installation costs MINT machine modules eliminate the need for an external controller, reducing panel space requirements, simplifying system construction, reducing cabling and at the same time provide a fully didgital, real-time Ethernet based control solution. - Dual axis MINT machine module - Multi axis MINT machine module - Fieldbus options Mint machine modules are part of the e100 motion family including MotiFlex e100, NextMove e100 and range of single phase servo drives, MicroFlex e100 which operate over Ethernet POWERLINK. NextMove e100 provides control of up to 16 coordinated axes of motion and many more non-coordinated axes. Axes can be split amongst the three phase MotiFlex e100 drives and single phase MicroFlex e100 drives to suit the application requirements.
