About Us
Our up to date stone yard, where computerised stone cutting and profiling equipment supplements traditional hand crafted stonemasonry skills, is geared to high volume production of quality-finished limestone. The technology lends itself particularly well to repetitive tasks, from the cutting of hundreds of cubic metres of limestone ashlar blocks for the shell of a new stately home, to the cutting and engraving of hundreds of commemorative paperweights – with everything in between, including cills, copings, finials, flooring and stairs.
The very same technology is also able to produce one-off pieces from clients’ drawings or to scan an existing piece and produce an identical copy, to be skilfully hand finished by our apprentice trained banker masons. Such pieces could include anything from garden sculpture to a replacement corbel.
