Visiting the Kemdent website will give the reader some real advantages in terms of product information and efficient delivery. Future Improving the web site is an example of how Kemdent continue to develop and meet the demands of an ever changing, competitive, global market. There are many more examples. Kemdent have recently installed a new computer system which will improve communication and reduce paper waste by using electronic document systems. Going Green – At Kemdent we are very concerned about the environment. Part of the manufacturing process at Kemdent involves the melting of wax. This can result in a large amount of wasted heat being expelled into the air. The recommendation of heat pump technology at an energy conservation course prompted Kemdent to install a heat pump. The heat pump captures previously wasted heat, recycling it to produce a supply of hot water for the factory. The unit has also been combined with a new gas boiler, linked via a heat exchanger to provide low level heating for the whole factory. Dentists and Laboratory Technicians who purchase Kemdent products can be assured they are being manufactured in an energy efficient way, reducing emissions to the environment. Research and Development continues to be an important factor in the key to Kemdent’s success. Future projects are likely to focus on material efficiency and durability.
