This can result in a large amount of wasted heat being expelled into the air. The recommendation of heat pump technology at an energy conservation course prompted Kemdent to install a heat pump. The heat pump captures previously wasted heat, recycling it to produce a supply of hot water for the factory. The unit has also been combined with a new gas boiler, linked via a heat exchanger to provide low level heating for the whole factory.
