New Solid State Relay

The COMUS Group announces the development of a New Solid State Relay type with no need of an external power supply : WG A5 6C/WG A5 8C/WG 280C A new type of solid state relay has been developed and added to our range of products. This SSR does not need to be activated or controlled by an external power supply. It simply detects any closure of a switch or contact on its input side, triggering the Triac- or Thyristor-output and keeping the necessary isolation between in- and output. This relay will be suitable for many applications, such as temperature controllers, lighting techniques, floats (2-wire) and many others. External power supplies are no longer needed. Internally this relay works with safety voltages (12 V) and gives the capability of switching power line voltage of 280 VAC with an input/output isolation of 3750 Vrms. This type is available with Triac-output (WG A5 6C or WG A5 8C) or with back-to back Thyristor output (WG 280 C).
