In the UK the main stay of the business is the Exhibition industry and its associated backup industries. This particular niche market has been taken over completely by Arena with customers including The National Exhibition Centre, Earls Court, Olympia, The Scottish National Exhibition and Conference Centre and the Millennium Dome. The primary material supplied by Arena for this specialist work is a cold applied Bituminous Polymeric Granolithic system, particularly useful in the refurbishment of Warehouses, Markets and Exhibition Centres. Normally laid at 30mm thickness the material produces a resilient, seamless flooring that can accept nail and screw fittings and yet retain its self-healing characteristics. The track record of the company is unblemished with several million square metres of specialist flooring supplied worldwide without failure. Some existing customers have been with Arena since 1970 and there are several cases where the original floors are still in use after 25 or 30 years. As an example, the Kodak project in Dubai with 25,000m2 now 26 years old, still providing good service.
